Past IWCA Chair
My brother’s family and especially my sister in law are so critical to my mom’s day to day care and happiness. They share an outsized burden because of this disease. We have a caregiver that is a gift to our family as well. She is amazing. I am out of town and joining this group allows me the opportunity to learn more, engage more and to help make a difference eradicating this terrible disease. I believe in the power of family and a community of those that care enough to make a difference. I am looking to help be a more active part of IWCA to make a difference.
I joined IWCA in honor of my mom, who has been battling Alzheimer’s for over the past 6 years, and for all those women who have been impacted by this disease. By helping and supporting IWCA I hope to bring awareness to others on the effects this disease has on women and families.
