About Us

Illinois Women Conquer ALZ (IWCA) seeks to engage and empower more women in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease by raising awareness and taking action through fundraising events, education and advocacy initiatives.

Recognizing that Alzheimer’s disproportionately impacts women, IWCA was founded in 2017 by the Alzheimer’s Association Illinois Chapter to raise awareness and connect with more women. All activities align with and support the mission and strategic plan of the Alzheimer’s Association Illinois Chapter.

By signing up as a member, you will receive:

  • Invitations to women-focused education programs, networking and social events.

  • Access to the IWCA newsletter and social media channels.

  • Opportunity to join a committee and actively engage with other women by collaborating on events and activities.

  • Advance invitation to our annual benefit event, The Power of Purple.

There is no cost to join. Sign up today and help change the numbers for future generations.
